Anthony Francis Pamintuan, PE

Anthony Francis is the owner and founder of Francis Fire & Life Safety Engineering, PC. Anthony is a California dually-licensed Professional Engineer as both a Fire Protection Engineer a licensed Mechanical Engineer. He is also the founder of Francis Fire & Life Safety Engineering specializing in building code and fire code compliance. Anthony has a Master's of Science degree in Fire Protection Engineering and a Bachelor's degree, both from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
 

Anthony was recruited by the State of California to work a hybrid role serving as an AHJ on the Building Official Unit for a state-wide agency and as a fire and life safety peer reviewer on the Architecture & Engineering unit. His responsibilities were to perform fire and life safety peer reviews for the new construction development team to catch and reduce fire and life safety issues before plans are submitted for plan check. The portfolio of medium to large sized buildings consisted of over 450 buildings located throughout the State.

Anthony began his career at one of the largest, world-wide fire protection consulting firms where he served as a fire and life safety design consultant on numerous mixed-use commercial development projects consisting of both high-rise and low-rise buildings. He specialized in Building Code and Fire Code application and focused his efforts to assist architects and developers achieve their design goals with code compliance.  ​​

Combined, Anthony has a unique experience across the private and public sector with a holistic understanding of the ownership, development, design, and the rigorous permitting process. His experience helps projects address various issues related to code compliance, permitting, and maintaining longevity of buildings through their post-occupancy certification.
